Our Story

In the early months of 2015, Paul and Gracee’s paths crossed as colleagues on a research project at the University of the Philippines Mindanao. Amid the steady rhythm of office work and field assignments, Paul found himself quietly captivated by Gracee’s warmth, humility, and gentle spirit. Wanting to express his growing affection, he turned to what he knew best—cooking. Thoughtful meals began arriving at Gracee’s desk during long workdays, and even on quiet weekends. Bouquets of flowers would appear unexpectedly, each one a small echo of his admiration.

Gracee, touched by these simple but sincere gestures, soon realized that Paul’s presence brought comfort and light to her busy days. What began as shared lunches and laughter slowly unfolded into something deeper. Their bond, nurtured by kindness and good food, was a reminder that sometimes, the way to a woman’s heart truly is through her stomach.

But Paul’s language of love didn’t end at the dinner table. Knowing Gracee’s love for music, he began curating handmade CD mixtapes—collections of songs filled with hope, faith, and tender love. Each track carried a message, each melody a reflection of his feelings. These mixtapes became the soundtrack of their growing connection, weaving their emotions into a quiet symphony of intention and care.

Their shared faith as Born Again Christians became the cornerstone of their relationship. Grounded in prayer and guided by scripture, they walked together through the seasons of life with purpose and unity. They found joy in preparing healthy meals, harmonizing in worship songs, and soaking in the stillness of nature. Their love for God and His creation shaped their vision—not only for each other, but for how they could serve others with compassion and grace.

Through every high and low, Paul and Gracee’s story has been a quiet testament to the power of gentle love, mutual respect, and shared values. It is a story not defined by grand gestures, but by the beauty of the everyday: a meal made with care, a song chosen with love, a faith strengthened side by side.

One verse has carried them through it all—Isaiah 60:22 (NIV): “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.” It has been their anchor in seasons of waiting, their reminder that small beginnings can lead to extraordinary promises when surrendered to God. With each step, they hold fast to the assurance that His perfect timing will always prevail.

Getting There

You must have some questions...

  • What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00PM. Please arrive no later than 2:30PM to allow time to park, enter the church and find a seat.
  • Is there parking available?
Parking at the church venue is somewhat limited and available to anyone who arrives and parks first, without reservations or prior booking. If the parking lot is full, there is more parking available outside the church and across the street. There will be church guards who will gladly assist you in parking. Meanwhile, parking will not be available at the reception venue. However, you may park within the area of St. Paul’s Parish Church which is right across the reception venue.
  • What is the dress code?
Please dress modestly, especially for the church ceremony. Our dress code is garden party formal or semi-formal wear. Feel free to incorporate subtle colors that complement the wedding theme. Terracotta Golden Yellow Laurel Turquoise
  • What is “Garden Party Formal”?
Garden party formal is a dress code that combines elements of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. Think of it as a blend of elegance and comfort. It's about looking polished and put-together, but in a way that's suitable for an outdoor setting. For ladies, floor-length and cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, pastel pleated skirts, jackets, and suits are welcome. Summer colors and florals are also appropriate. Pair with wedge sandals or ballet flats. Men can opt for a lightweight and light-colored suit, perhaps in beige or light grey. Pair it with a crisp white shirt, a pastel tie, and brown loafers or brogues. Don't forget a pocket square for that extra touch of class. Remember, the key to nailing the garden party formal look is balance and comfort. You want to look elegant, but not overdressed. Think breathable, light, airy fabrics like linen or cotton.
  • Will the wedding be indoors?
Yes, our afternoon ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
  • Is there anything I should bring as a guest?
We kindly ask that guests bring a shawl or a wrap as the venue will be air-conditioned and it might get chilly inside.
  • Can I take pictures during the ceremony or post on social media?
We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an awesome team of photographers (shout out to The Oblivion Studio!!!) to capture every detail of the wedding and we will of course share those photos with you afterwards! Please respect our privacy and don’t share photos of our wedding on social media, as we’d like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.
  • Can I bring a date?
Due to space and capacity restrictions, we can only accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. If you received a plus one it will be noted on your invitation and under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
  • Can I bring my children to the wedding?
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of a few close family members and friends. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off.
  • Will alcoholic beverages be served?

Our wedding celebration will be a joyous and alcohol-free event. We will provide a selection of non-alcoholic options. However, we will be serving a welcome drink like sparkling wine and champagne during the reception.
  • Where should we bring or send our gifts?
The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. However, we’ve been asked what we need or would like. If you do wish to give us something, a gift of cash could make our day. If you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
  • What time does the wedding reception end? Will there be an after party?

Our reception will end around 10:00PM. No, there will be no after party.
  • Can I smoke on the property?
The venue is a smoke-free property.

We look forward to seeing you!

We request your reply by May 10th.
